1984 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER
1985 RANGE ROVER

Our 1984 HJ47 Toyota Landcruiser is now available for sale. It was a body off restoration and modification and has been finished in Toyota Heath Gray. We rebuilt it to better than new, whilst keeping the soul, Toyota.

To that end, it has been re-engined with a Toyota 3.0 litre 1KD-FTV turbo diesel. The engine has been rebuilt to better than new tolerances, as has the 5 speed Toyota R151 gearbox. All the ancillaries are also either brand new or rebuilt.

The suspension is upgraded with Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shock absorbers, springs and polyurethane bushes, whilst the 16 inch alloy wheels and 32 inch Nitto Grappler All Terrain tyres are controlled by a custom power steering conversion.

You will enter the cabin with central locking. Sitting in the Stratos suspension seats, you will look at the classic 40 series bare metal dashboard that features integrated air conditioning and an Alpine entertainment system, with GPS and HEMA maps. And to ensure your comfort, out of sight, the inside has been comprehensively covered with Car Builders sound deadening and thermal insulation.

The vehicle retains the classic lines of the iconic 40 series Toyota Landcruiser, whilst the drivability and comfort has been thoroughly modernised.

All modifications have been engineered, thoroughly inspected and modification plated.

Our 1985 Range Rover Classic is currently nearing completion.

The vehicle was stripped down, inspected and repainted in a classic Tuscan Blue. The interior was removed and Car Builders sound deadening and thermal insulation installed throughout. The interior was then retrimmed in black quilted leather with complementary blue stitching and plush carpeting.

The suspension has been completely replaced and upgraded with King Springs, Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shock absorbers and SuperPro polyurethane bushes all around.

Mechanically, we replaced the 3.5L carburetted V8 and Torqueflite 3 speed Auto with a Landrover 300TDI diesel engine and 4 speed Auto, for improved performance and economy.

31 inch All Terrain tyres on black powder coated, classic 15 inch Performance Wheels give the vehicle a purposeful, off road look, whilst remaining within the standard lines.

All modifications have been engineered, thoroughly inspected and modification plated.
